THIS IS THE SOUND OF MASIMO (2002)

The first album was released in Summer 2002. But the story starts a year before, with the release of a four-track CD known as the "Blue ep". It was the first of three ep's released four months apart, with the "Red ep" and the "Green ep" following. Track listings were as follows: (Blue) The Wrong and the Right; California Sailors; This Sinking Ship; Although the Night is Young. (Red) Dead Men on Vinyl; One of God's Lonely People; This is no Protest Song; The Wrong and the Right [soulshaker mix]. (Green) The Girl that the World Forgot; The Lesson; We're the Boys; The Death of Hercules. The tracks were recorded on a Yamaha 8-track minidisc recorder which broke a few days after I completed the Green ep. I took that as a sign that this era was done and the album was born.
